On Board

What to wear during the sailing tour?

At sea it can be a little more chilly than in the city, so bring at least a jacket to protect you from the wind, also in summer. Flat shoes are the most comfortable and we prefer white soles as they don’t mark. In summertime, also bring your swimwear and a towel if you want because if the sea state allows it we can stop to have a nice swim.

What should I bring for the sailing tour?

Clothes depending on the weather, suncream, swimwear in summer, towel, and a hat.

Can I bring my own food and drinks?

Yes, you are allowed to bring as much food and drinks as you want.

Is there a toilet on board?

Yes, there is a toilet on board.

Can I change myself on board?

If you want to put on your swimwear, you can do that in one of the cabins without any problem.

Can I drink alcohol?

Yes, but your safety is our biggest concern and if the skipper thinks the conditions are not adequate, he can ask you to stop drinking.

Can I play my own music?

On a private tour you can of course play your own music. There is an hifi system on board with speakers in and outside. Depending on the yacht you can connect your mobile device with bluetooth, usb connection or uni jack cable.

How do I find the yacht?

The yachts leave from Port Olimpico, Moll de la marina, mooring 1416, Barcelona. Please, have a look at google maps before you come to the port, as it is really easy to lose your way.Amarrage

I will arrive late, what to do?

If you booked a shared sailing tour, we cannot wait as this affects the other guests, so please be on time. Even if you are only 5 minutes late it can happen that the yacht leaves without you and there will be no refund in that case. If you opted for the cancellation insurance you will be refunded of course.
If you booked a private sailing tour there is no problem for us to wait, but be aware that the finish time can’t be moved forward as we have many trips throughout the day.

Sunset Tour at what time?

Most time of the year the sensational sunset sailing tour starts at 19.00 (07.00 pm). In some months the tour will start earlier as the sun goes down earlier and also the clock change effects. Please contact us if you want to know the time table for a specific date.

What happens with bad weather?

All different weather types are a challenge and the sea looks different everyday. So, there is no cancellation possible because of rain, only in situations where the sea state is to dangerous for the crew and the skipper or if the port authorities decide it is to dangerous to sail that day. In that case, we will try to reschedule, and if that is not possible, we will refund you.

I can’t swim

If you can’t swim, we think it’s better you stay onboard. There is a current sometimes and we expect you to be a good swimmer before you jump in. The yacht is equipped of course with life jackets for all crew members and all other obligated safety equipment in case off an emergency

The skipper does not give permission to swim, why?

In case the sea state is bad, for example there a lot of waves, we won’t let you swim for your own safety. The yacht will bounce up and down and it can be dangerous to climb back onboard.

How do you help protect the environment during the sailing trips?

We place great importance on environmental conservation, particularly the health of our oceans. To support this, we request that all rubbish be placed in onboard bins to prevent it from accidentally falling into the sea. Furthermore, we advocate for respect towards the heritage, environment, and communities of our destinations, and encourage everyone to exhibit considerate and responsible behavior both at sea and in port.
